I love roleplaying! I would probably be delighted to write with you! Let me just lay down some ground rules!21+ only, please! I'm in my 30's; I only want to write with other adults, even if the scenes are completely SFW. No characters under 18, either.IC ≠ OOC! I am extremely firm on the boundaries between IC and OOC feelings and behaviors, and you should be too! This extends beyond "don't flirt with me OOC"; if a scene or character dynamic is making you, the roleplayer unhappy — talk to me about it. I will always prioritize the comfort and happiness of my writing partners above the fiction. This is a hobby; we're meant to be having fun together!Let's respect each other's time! I have an unpredictable, stressful job, a lot of hobbies besides RP, and a chronic illness that flares up sometimes and leaves me bedridden. Please don't make demands of my time or be pushy with me for RP — "Are you around?" is fine, guilt-tripping me if I say no isn't.

Where can we write? If FFXIV is your thing, writing in-game works for me! If that isn't an option for you, we can also write over Google docs and send each other Bluesky DMs when we update. If you have other suggestions, I'm all ears! I know people prefer Discord — frankly, I do too — but I've had too many shitty experiences to feel okay giving out my handle anymore. I'm really not concerned about matching post lengths to each other or hitting a word count quota. Sometimes scenes are better served by snappy back-and-forth, and sometimes it really is necessary to write all ten of those paragraphs. In-game, I tend toward shorter posts in public RP. As long as your posts give me something to respond to, I'll be happy!Themes / scenes? There's almost nothing I dislike writing. I have a natural inclination toward jestery / buffoonery and I often can't help myself from trying to make my RP partners laugh, but I also love writing dark or dramatic scenes. If we write dark stuff together, I just ask that you're proactive about telling me your boundaries.
